Hi. I'm Kelsey.

that crazed girl improvising her music.
Her poetry, dancing upon the shore,

Her soul in division from itself
Climbing, falling She knew not where,
Hiding amid the cargo of a steamship,
Her knee-cap broken, that girl I declare
A beautiful lofty thing, or a thing
Heroically lost, heroically found.

No matter what disaster occurred
She stood in desperate music wound,
Wound, wound, and she made in her triumph
Where the bales and the baskets lay
No common intelligible sound
But sang, 'O sea-starved, hungry sea.'

I also go by K2, Bundty, and youthculture. I'm sure there are other names that should be tacked on, but I'm too lazy to go rummaging for them.

I'm a soon-to-be-senior at Albertus Magnus College, also known as Cardboard College, majoring in English Literature with a minor in Communications. I hope that by doing this, I can take two somewhat useless degrees and with their powers combined, become Captain Planet.

I am a huge dork and I'm not afraid to talk about it. I roleplay, LARP, play D&D and other various tabletops, cosplay, and play video games. My 20's are natural, baby. Despite being a fucking nerd, I am one of those special few that are socially functional. I like to party, to listen to music, drink Starbucks, and just chill out. My favorite beer is Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA and sometimes I dress up like an angry elf and beat up nerds on the weekend.

I write frequently, but not as much as I used to. I would never have the balls to call myself a poet (I have difficulty enough calling myself a writer), but I do enjoy reading and writing poetry. I try and read as much as I can, but that depends upon my course load and how lazy I'm feeling at the time.

I enjoy intelligence, wit, and sarcasm in the company I keep. I have a great fondness for goth, industrial, trip-hop, and dark wave, but my playlists can vary from Journey to Cake to Portishead to Notorious B.I.G. to Jay-Z easily enough. I enjoy the goth club scene in moderation; I like to dance when no one is watching and sing louder than I should. I believe there is a difference between being mature and acting immaturely, and that life is fullest when you have equal amounts of both.

I have a recently gained appreciation for Led Zeppelin while driving down long, winding Italian highways through the mountains of Umbria with the windows down. Lately I have also enjoyed going to different bars around Providence and waiting to see how long it takes for a hipster/weirdo to wander over to me with a fantastic pick-up line. The winner so far is the guy at The Wild Colonial who told me his friends said the world would end if he did not come speak with me.

I am an amateur street performer. I statue in my hometown of Providence during Waterfire season. If you see some skinny white chick that you swear you saw on the internet somewhere, feel free to say hello. I also work at Papyrus where I sell pretentious old people paper goods for a small (huge) fee.

I swear I'm not as bitter as I sound. Maybe.
